If we talk about system software so it can manage the system resources.

And if we talk about application software, so it makes us able to carry out some particular functions and some special tasks.

 System software can manage the system resources, it allows a space for running application software.

Application software permits the user to perform a particular set of functions that have been designed by them.

System software has made with low-level language. Therefore, application software develops with a high-level language.

This system software take a start automatically. When the system turns on and stops.

Though Application software totally depends on the user, it runs when the user needs it and requests it.

A system is unable to make a start without system software. Well, application software is designed particularly for users ad there is not any requirement to manage the system on the whole.

The purpose of using this system software in general and the application software used for some specific purposes.

A very common example of system software is Windows Operating System and MS office and photo shops are very well-known examples of application software.
